Dust always collects at the lowest corner of the glass of all solar panels as a result of dew moving the dirt down to the lowest corner. After evaporating, it leaves a partially covered solar cell behind. This partial coverage results in a whole solar string underperforming, even if only one cell of one of the solar panels is partially covered.
